We aim to promote beekeeping and honeybees in Beaufort County N.C. and beyond.
About
We are a chapter of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association (NCSBA).
Our goals are:
to teach and encourage better methods among Beekeepers of Beaufort County,
to promote cooperation and the sharing of information and knowledge,
and to reach a common understanding regarding our problems and their solutions.
Furthermore, we strive to do such things that will improve beekeeping and education about honeybees and the beekeeping industry for our members and the general public.
Our members include hobbyists, side-liners, and commercial beekeepers.

We meet every month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. The meeting is from 6 PM to 8 PM.
The meeting takes place at the offices of the N.C. Cooperative Extension for Beaufort County. The address is:

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to attend. We usually have a large number of members attending, and often have visitors.

The monthly meeting usually includes:
• a main presentation (past examples include Master Craftsman Beekeeper, regional commercial apiarists),
• a short section wherein we discuss club topics (e.g., minutes, motions, memberships, upcoming events, sponsorships, etc.).We usually hang around after the meeting for snacks and chatting.
